Metal & Recycling Company (MRC) was established in 1987. It is an ISO 14001 certified and a publicly traded company in Kuwait Stock Exchange Market since 1996. MRC has transformed from being the largest scrap trading company, into a leading environmental and waste management company with projects and operations spanning across a number of countries within the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
In its efforts to support the strategic products and services offerings diversification, MRC has been restructured into three main sectors: Waste Management & Recycling Sector, the Energy Sector and the Industrial Sector.
In addition, the management of two million square meters of industrial land will support the needs of the investors’ for a friendly environmental industries with environment protection facilities, which will lead to the creation of the first model of an environmental friendly recycling city in Kuwait.
