MRC’s site at Amghara is the oldest and largest recycling facility in Kuwait. It is home to a landmark scrap metal facility, capable of receiving and processing all types of metal scrap including end-of-life vehicles. Over the years, millions of tons of prepared and processed scrap metal have passed the gates of MRC to be then delivered to local and international steel mills and metal furnaces for reentry into manufacturing line.
The facility also houses Kuwait’s first plastic recycling plant and has helped divert hundreds of thousands of tons of plastic scrap from Kuwaiti landfill sites since the Company’s creation. The facility focuses on producing high quality plastic granules and recycled products offered to a multitude of plastic conversion clients both inside and outside Kuwait.
