Metal and Recycling Company (MRC) has signed an MoU with Omniya, the Kuwait-based nonprofit focused on plastic recycling, to support national sustainability efforts.
Under the agreement, Omniya will collect plastic waste from the source, while MRC will process it through its advanced facilities in line with global standards to enable safe reuse across industries.

The partnership reinforces both organizations’ commitment to supporting Kuwait’s sustainability goals and advancing a greener economy.
Tarek Al-Mousa, Vice Chairman & CEO of MRC, highlighted MRC’s role in driving industrial sustainability and supporting community initiatives.
Farah Shaban, CEO of Omniya, emphasized the collaboration’s importance in promoting the circular economy and strengthening public-private cooperation, especially within the education sector.
